environment. Fleet Manager Full-time Salary Position: 50 hours per
week FLSA: Exempt Working Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
Hours subject to vary to meet needs Report to Vice President
General Summary of the Position: The Fleet Manager is responsible
for overseeing the maintenance, readiness and outfitting of company
trucks and related field assets. The role performs hands-on light
service work, coordinates advance repairs internally and with
subcontractors. Manages out of state vehicle maintenance and
ensures all service activity is documented in accordance with
company process and procedures. The Fleet Manager will also
maintain survey equipment, coordinate repairs and ensure vehicles
are properly equipped to support field operations regionally.
Qualifications & Skills: Vehicle Maintenance. Hands on ability to
perform light mechanical and preventive maintenance. Experience in
mechanical service and fleet management. Strong organizational and
documentation skills. Ability to coordinate repairs with vendors
and remote service provider. Strong communication skills.
Experience maintaining tools and equipment. Ability to manage
multiple assess and priorities efficiently. Ability to travel when
needed. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Mechanical, technical and carpentry trade background preferred.
Essential Functions: Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance,
repairs and inspections of vehicles to ensure safe operating
conditions. Perform routine light maintenance and minor repairs of
company vehicles (oil changes, filters, brakes, basic mechanical
fixes, etc.) Identify and escalate major mechanical issues
requiring external repair services. Coordinate maintenance and
repairs for out of state vehicles by sourcing out services to
qualified vendors to ensure timely service completion. Maintain
vehicle compliance with safety inspection and registration
requirements. Document all vehicle services, inspections and
repairs with company requirements of documentation. Survey
equipment – Maintain, track and inspect survey equipment to ensure
working condition. Coordinate survey equipment repairs with
subcontractors or specialty service providers. Ensure equipment
calibration schedules, repairs and performance standards are met.
Maintain organized inventory records for all survey equipment and
tools. Will have the responsibility of driving company vehicle
truck on site and follow all safety protocol. Vendor &
Subcontractor Coordination: Manage relationships with repair
vendors, parts suppliers and subcontractors. Request quotes,
schedule service, monitor quality and verify completed work. Ensure
subcontractor work aligns with company standards, timeliness and
budgets. Vehicle Outfitting & Field Readiness: Outfit new and
existing vehicles with required tools, racks, storage systems,
safety gear and field specific equipment. Customize vehicle setups
to meet operational and field crew needs. Maintain standardized
outfitting guidelines for consistency across the fleet. Support
fleet upgrades, vehicle replacements, and new vehicle deployments.
Safety and Compliance: Comply with vehicle safety requirements to
ensure trucks and equipment meet company standards. OSHA 10

parts and equipment (up to 50 lbs) Comfortable working in shop,
outdoor and field environments. Ability to operate vehicles, tools,
and shop equipment safely. Travel either by transportation of
driving vehicles or by airline. Preferred Experience: Mechanical
and surveying experience. Valid appropriate state driver’s license
