As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Council Bluffs, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and engaging with individuals on site to provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving position, so you will be responsible for navigating the property and responding promptly to situations as they arise. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur06:00 AM - 06:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 06:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter of the manufacturing and industrial facility to help to deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity within the facility and surrounding areas. Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and location staff to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment. Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols related to access control, visitor management, and emergency response. Assist with emergency procedures and provide support during drills or real incidents as directed by site management or Allied Universal supervision. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
