Job Description:
Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., a renowned leader in
comprehensive security and safety solutions, seeks a dedicated Fire
Protection Systems Technician to join our Technical Maintenance
Division. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the
safety features integral to our clients' fire prevention
strategies. The technician will be responsible for the
installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire
protection systems, adhering to the latest safety standards and
technological advancements, ensuring optimal operational integrity
in a variety of environments from residential complexes to
high-risk industrial areas. Install, inspect, test, and maintain
fire protection devices and systems. Troubleshoot and repair
malfunctions in fire alarms, sprinklers, and other fire suppression
systems. Conduct regular maintenance checks and calibration of fire
safety equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and
standards. Prepare and maintain detailed safety documentation and
service records. Educate and train clients on proper fire safety
practices and emergency response techniques. Coordinate with safety
managers to implement fire protection plans and system upgrades.
Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment related to
fire protection systems. Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective
communication and interpersonal skills for training and client
interactions. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS)
preferred. State Fire Marshal certifications as required.
