Job Description Job Description Maintenance Technician - Start ASAP We are seeking an experienced maintenance technician. In this role, you will provide troubleshooting and maintenance of all electrical and mechanical areas of the plant. Responsibilities: Operate, monitor, and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems in accordance with PSM/RMP standards Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs on refrigeration equipment Troubleshoot system issues and perform corrective actions to minimize downtime Maintain accurate logs and documentation of system performance, inspections, and repairs Ensure compliance with all OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies and procedures Respond to alarms and system alerts during assigned shifts Assist with audits, inspections, and training as needed Support general facility maintenance tasks as assigned Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts. Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges. Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance. Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. Hours: 2nd shift 3pm-11pm (F-M) Pay: $32-40/hr DOE Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of mechanical and electrical experience Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings 3-phase wiring/24v/480v electrical experience Read electrical schematics Skills: Electrical maintenance - including 24v and 480v, as well as 3-phase wiring Maintenance Technician Blueprint reading PLC programming Calibration Control Voltage Electrical Schematics Troubleshooting Hydraulics Instrumentation Mechanical maintenance Apply today Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of North Sioux City, SD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $83200.00/yr. 401k company match, 2 weeks PTO, paid holidays, boot reimbursement.
