Overview:Edwards Auto Group in Council Bluffs, IA is looking for an Automotive Service Manager to join the team! The Automotive Service Manager will oversee an efficient and profitable service department through staffing, customer retention, cost controls, and maintenance of all service records. This individual will assist in hiring and training of new employees. Improving efficiency with both customers and their staff is a must.Responsibilities:Ensure high quality service and repairs are provided to customersAssists with Hiring, training, and regulating the shops efficienciesControl expenses and monitor the operations of the departmentManage schedules and guide employeesHandle escalated customer complaintsConduct meetings with departments staff to review activities and/or concernsImplement marketing strategies to improve salesWork directly with customers to discuss the mechanical details of their vehicleQualifications:Automotive Dealership experience is requiredExcellent communication skillsMust be organized and detailedTime efficiency is a mustReliable work historyBenefits:Great PayOn the job trainingPositive work environmentPaid VacationsMedical, Dental, and Life InsurancePaid Parental Leave401k with a matchCareer advancement opportunities
