Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled SAS Programmer with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry to join our team. The role involves developing and reviewing programming strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support clinical trials. Key Responsibilities:

• SAS Programming: Demonstrate extensive understanding of SAS programming concepts and techniques. Review programming strategies critically and correct flaws proactively.
• Standards: Monitor industry/regulatory trends, set and ensure adherence to programming standards, and integrate with related functions.
• Database Activities: Provide strategic guidance on CRF and database design, ensuring compliance with global standards.
• Derivation Programming & Data Sets: Interpret analysis plans, develop analysis datasets, and monitor regulatory guidance.
• Client Interaction: Collaborate with stakeholders, manage priorities, build external relationships, and develop contingency plans.
• Communication: Present programming concepts, risks, and impacts effectively to diverse audiences.
• Training & Mentoring: Coach staff, ensure training compliance, and facilitate professional development.
• Resource Management: Assign responsibilities, review activities, and assist in global resource planning.
• Leadership: Establish goals, foster a culture of open communication, and lead the team to meet organizational objectives. Work Activities: Prolonged sitting (more than 2 hours), keyboard use (---50% of workday). Qualifications:

• MS in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field with 12+ years of experience, or BS with 14+ years.
• Expertise in SAS programming, macro development, and pharmaceutical clinical trials.
• Experience with regulatory filings (NDA/BLA), ICH guidelines, and FDA/EMEA expectations.
• Minimum of 5 years management experience required. Additional Information: This position requires on-site presence 3 days/week.
