Description:General Summary:Such duties must be in accordance with federal, state and local standards, guidelines, regulations that govern Bethany Lutheran Home and as may be required by the Manager to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.Qualifications:

• Must be an RN licensed in the state of Iowa in good standing with no record of abuse.Essential Job Functions:
  • RN provides direct nursing care to the residents and supervise the day to day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern Bethany Lutheran Home and as may be required by the Director of Nursing or Nurse Supervisor to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
  • RN must be able to direct and supervise nursing care and maintain professional relationships with staff, residents and families.
  • RN must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
  • Must be CPR certified.. Requirements:Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day.Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum of 3ft.Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents in an emergency situation.Must be able to kneel, stoop or bend to assist residents.Wear back support and utilize gait belt appropriately.
