Psychiatric-Mental Health opening in Council Bluffs, Iowa. This

Dates Needed: November 25, 7 am - December 1, 7 am, and December
22, 7 am - January 4, 7 am.
Schedule: 24hr call coverage with morning rounding.
Population: All ages.
Patients per day: 22 patients per day (split between providers)
36 bed unit with 3 wings: adults, Psych ICU, and
Child/adolescent
Rounding starts roughly 8a and locum would round on roughly 12-15
patients per day. Mainly Adults.
Typical cases: psychosis, depression, suicide ideation/post
attempts, SPMI, substance abuse (secondary)
APP and other physicians provide coverage as well. During the week
there would be one other psychiatrist and obviously nursing staff
to support patient care. On the weekend there would be one
physician which would be the locum and one nurse practitioner.
