Wound Care RN Lic/Certs: BLS, ARRT, State License if applicable
13-week Wound Care RN travel assignment Client in [Omaha &
Nebraska] is looking for an Wound Care RN to help them out for 13

Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Care
Registered Nurse (RN) to join our travel healthcare team. The Wound
Care RN will be responsible for assessing, treating, and managing
patients with a variety of wound conditions, including chronic
wounds, surgical wounds, and pressure ulcers. The ideal candidate
will have specialized training in wound care and a dedication to
improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.
Essential Work Functions • Conduct thorough assessments of patients
with acute and chronic wounds. • Identify wound types, assess wound
healing progress, and document findings accurately. • Provide
advanced wound care treatments, including wound debridement,
dressing changes, and application of topical agents. • Utilize and
monitor advanced wound care technologies as appropriate. • Educate
patients on wound care techniques and preventive measures as well
as wound care procedures,self-care practices, and lifestyle
modifications to promote and support wound healing. • Collaborate
with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide
coordinated care. • Maintain accurate and detailed records of
patient assessments, treatments, and progress. • Ensure
documentation meets regulatory and facility standards. • Report any
changes in patient conditions or complications to the appropriate
healthcare providers. • Work closely with physicians, nurse
practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate
patient care. • Refer patients to specialists or additional
services as needed. • Stay current with best practices and advances
in wound care. • Participate in continuing education and
professional development activities. Required Essential Skills •
Interpersonal Skills - to work effectively with a variety of
personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive
attitude and a professional appearance. • Technical/Motor Skills -
Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and able to
move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department
equipment. • Mental Requirements – Must be able to cope with
frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting
deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close
supervision occasionally as well as working without assistance from
other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity
schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail.
