preferred Must-Have: 100% nicotine-free facility, RNs must wear
designated scrubs Description: This is a mixed acuity unit caring
for medical surgical patients specializing in neurology and
neurosurgery. The unit has a total of 48 beds, with eight beds
equipped for long-term EEG monitoring. Specialized patient
populations include strokes, aneurysms, seizures, spinal fusions,
brain and spinal cord tumors, and other neurological conditions.
Staff will float within scope to meet facility needs. Weekend
requirements include working two weekends in a four-week period.
Travelers must work 2/3 of major holidays during their contract.
RTO (Requested Time Off) restrictions allow for up to two weeks of
RTO, which must be submitted with the application. Candidates
undertaking this role must be more than 100 miles from the facility
to be considered. Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination is
mandatory, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons.
Nicotine use is strictly prohibited on the premises. Orientation
includes a mandatory charting class. The unit requests two weekend
shifts in a four-week period, with shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.
