Job Description:

Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of prior
Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience required. Oncology experience
preferred; must have at least one previous assignment in oncology.
License: Active Registered Nurse license required. Certifications:
BLS certification required. Must-Have: EPIC charting experience
required. Level I Trauma Center and Teaching Hospital experience
required. Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs.
100% Nicotine-free facility; nicotine use may put traveler contract
at risk for immediate termination. Description: This unit is a
36-bed unit serving adult oncology patients. Patients receive
chemotherapy or high-dose chemotherapy and may undergo complex
medication and blood product administration. The unit has mixed
acuity. Ratios are 1:4 during the day and 1:5 at night. Travelers
will not administer chemotherapy. Two weekends in a four-week
schedule period are required. RNs must wear specific scrubs with a
designated logo. All applicants must apply for a state license at
the time of submission. Request for time off must be included at
the time of submission and is limited to two weeks. No time off is
allowed during the first week following orientation.
