Job Description Responsibilities - Patient Care: - Diagnose and
treat various medical conditions. - Develop and implement
comprehensive treatment plans. - Conduct thorough medical
examinations and histories. - Communication: - Communicate
effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. -
Provide clear and concise medical information. - Foster a
collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare. -
Documentation: - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans. -
Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations. - Diagnostic
Procedures: - Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab
work and imaging. - Perform procedures as needed - Collaborate with
specialists for further diagnostic evaluation. - Team
Collaboration: - Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other
healthcare professionals. - Participate in interdisciplinary team
meetings and case discussions. - Provide consultative services to
other healthcare providers. - Quality Improvement: - Participate in
quality assurance and improvement initiatives. - Review and analyze
clinical outcomes for continuous improvement. - Implement changes
to enhance patient care and safety. - Compliance: - Adhere to
ethical and legal standards in medical practice. - Stay informed
about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements. -
Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards. -
Continuous Learning: - Stay abreast of medical advancements and
best practices. - Participate in ongoing medical education and
training. - Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and
guidelines. Qualifications - American Board Certified or Board
Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty - A valid and
unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible Overview CHI
Health Clinicisactively seeking afull-time OB/GYNto join our
established practice in Omaha, Nebraska. Based at theCHI Health
Immanuel Hospital, this is an exciting opportunity to join an
established, robust practice. Details of the position: - Busy
practice with existing patient panel available - Growing team of 4
physicians, 4 nurse midwives, and Advanced Practice Providers -
Call 1:6 - Average of 21-24 patient visits per day, per provider -
Average of 10 Deliveries per month, per provider - In-office
Ultrasound, NST, and Colposcopy available - LEEP is available
inpatient only - Provide full spectrum obstetrics and gynecology
care for women of all ages - EPIC - integrated clinic model
partnering closely with primary care, diabetic education, psych,
physical therapy, and pharmacy - Access to efficient Ambulatory
Surgery Center - Deliveries at a tertiary care facility with a
level 3 NICU - Utilize the DaVinci surgical robot and other state
of the art equipment, depending on case needs - Access to efficient
Ambulatory Surgery Center - Involvement in medical student,
resident, and fellow education - Opportunity for Academic
Appointment with Creighton University Requirements of the position:
- Must be BE/BC in Obstetrics and Gynecology - Ability to obtain an
Iowa and Nebraska License - Excellent interpersonal and
