Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/10/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience and current ARRT or RCIS certification. Responsibilities - Acute care hospital setting in a cardiac cath lab with 1 procedure suite - Adult inpatient and outpatient population, including CAD and AMI cases - Typical caseload is 1-3 cases per day - Procedures include left heart catheterizations, stent placements, ICD and pacemaker insertions - 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM plus call requirements - Call required 1-2 nights per week, 1 weekend per month, and rotating holidays; call covers three campuses - 30-minute call response time required to the home campus - Floating may be required to nearby campuses as needed - Uses Epic EMR, Siemens Cath, Siemens Sensis, Apollo, and Phillips IVUS equipment - Hospital-supplied scrubs are required - Duties include scrubbing to assist physicians, monitoring patients, and documenting cases in the cath lab - Travelers will receive orientation at all three campuses, with each orientation lasting 1-3 days - Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments; refusal to comply can result in termination of contract - Supervision is provided by an on-site lab supervisor - Candidates may not have been employed full-time, part-time, or PRN by any CommonSpirit facility within the past year - A 50-mile radius rule applies for eligibility, determined by permanent address on driver's license - Set daily schedule with limited self-scheduling for call shifts - Must be able to meet 30-minute call response time to the home campus Requirements - Minimum of 2 years recent experience in cardiac cath lab - Current ARRT or RCIS certification is required - Current BLS certification is required - Active state or compact licensure is required for consideration; license required if applicable - Experience in scrubbing, assisting MDs, monitoring, and documentation of cath lab cases - Experience with left heart caths, stent placements, ICD, and pacemaker procedures - Previous travel experience preferred but not required - Must provide a copy of driver's license for permanent address verification - Two professional references: one supervisor from the past 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the past 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-593923.
