Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM • Every third weekend requirement • Holiday requirement for 4th of July • 2:1 nurse to patient ratio in 16-bed Medical ICU • Float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) when not needed in ICU • Must pass open book exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score or face termination • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (PALS & TNCC preferred) • 2 years ICU experience preferred with travel experience preferred • Must have experience with drips, ventilators, and BiPAPs • Responsible for titrating vasopressors and sedation drips including levophed, neosynephrine, cardene, precedex, and propofol • Must be able to read and verify telemetry strips • Navy blue scrub color requirement • Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination • 1 shift orientation for ICU and 1 shift for PCU • EPIC charting system • Care for patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, stroke, MI, DKA, STEMI, A-fib RVR, COPD exacerbation, and pulmonary embolism • Must live outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit facilities Facility: This healthcare organization operates a Level 3 trauma center with a 16-bed Medical ICU providing acute care services.
