ID: 75298835 Shift: 12H Nights 12 hr nights Description: Unit Notes:* * RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated * *Department: MedSurg*Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred*Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract - Beds: 28- Ratios: Days: 1:4 / Nights: 1:5- Types of patients: Adults and geriatrics- Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Yes- 1:10- Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?: Yes- 1:10- Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1900, 1830-0700 / Scheduler will do schedule - no block scheduling- Weekend Requirement: Varies per need- Holiday Requirement: Varies per need- Floating Requirements: may float to ER to sit with a 1:1- Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided?: Navy Blue- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: Classroom orientation and 1-12 hour shift on the floor- Additional Notes: Travelers are treated like family, really incorporated in to the cultureRadius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract).
