in Omaha, Nebraska, 68130! Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse

Candidates must not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any
affiliated facilities. - Pass a required exam during orientation
with a minimum score of 90%. - Driver's license required for
submission. - No artificial nails permitted for patient care staff.
Description: The ICU department provides patient care for a variety
of ICU acuity patients. Common diagnoses include vented patients,
BIS scoring, TTM, and IABP. Registered Nurses are required to
titrate drips. Commonly titrated drips include
vasopressors/inotropes, sedatives, heparin, octreotide, and
insulin. A charge nurse is present on each shift and manages an
assignment. No nurse aids or patient care techs are available on
this unit. Hospitalist or intensivist support is provided in-house
24/7. The schedule operates on a 6-week rotating basis. Weekend
work is required every other week, and holidays will rotate with
permanent staff. Floating to PCU or MedSurg may be required. The
dress code is navy blue scrubs. Seeking positive nurses who are
willing to work collaboratively in a team environment. Please
provide requested time off upfront, as additional requests will not
be approved. Hospital reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts
per 13-week assignment. Charting is done using an electronic
