Job Title RN (Registered Nurse), PCU City/State: Council Bluffs, Iowa Shift: 12H Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00 Contract Length: 12.00-3 weeks Start Date: 03/02/2026 Job Description: Registered Nurse in a Progressive Care Unit responsible for providing patient care to individuals with heart failure, Afib, respiratory distress, and stroke. The role requires titration of drips such as Cardizem, amiodarone, and nitro, as well as reading and interpreting cardiac monitor strips. The unit is equipped with CPAP, and RNs are expected to troubleshoot this equipment. The position entails working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork and patient-oriented care.
