Job Description Job Description Position Overview Were seeking a
dynamic and experienced Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to lead the
nursing operations of a dedicated behavioral health hospital. This
executive role is responsible for strategic leadership, clinical
excellence, and the day-to-day oversight of nursing staff and
patient care. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in
psychiatric nursing, a strong leadership background, and a
commitment to high-quality, patient-centered behavioral health

across entire systems. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in
Nursing or commensurate experience required Masters degree in
Nursing or Mental Health Nursing strongly preferred Active RN
license and eligibility to practice in Iowa Minimum of six years of
RN experience (ten or more years preferred) At least two years of
behavioral health experience as an RN in an inpatient psychiatric
setting Minimum of three years of progressive nursing leadership or
administrative experience Prior experience as a CNO or Director of
Nursing strongly preferred Experience in a freestanding psychiatric
hospital strongly preferred Ability to provide direct patient care
as needed Experience leading recruitment, hiring, and staff
