Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse), Med Surg City/State: Council Bluffs, Iowa Shift: 12H Nights 19:00:00-07:00:00 Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 02/16/2026 Job Description: Registered Nurse with Med Surg specialization responsible for providing patient care on a unit with 28 beds and 22 overflow. The unit covers a range of patients including total knee, hip, and shoulder replacements, as well as cases of COPD, diabetes, wounds, and more. Responsibilities: Provide nursing care to patients with various medical conditions including oncology, sepsis, and pneumonia. Work closely with charge nurses and utilize provided monitors. Participate in a first week classroom orientation followed by a 12-hour shift on the unit. Adhere to a self-scheduling model and work every third weekend. Requirements: BLS Certification required. Pass a pass/fail open book exam with a 90% score on skills learned during orientation.
