Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/28/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Beds: 23/n/nRatios: 1:6–7 (7 is rare)/n/nCertifications: BLS/n/nScrubs: Pewter Gray (Cherokee Pewter Gray reference)/n/nPatient Population/n/nOrtho: Total joints (hips, knees, shoulders), spines/n/nOncology: Admissions & chemotherapy administration (chemo cert not required unless specified in posting)/n/nOther: MedSurg overflow, Hospice/n/nTelemetry: Must have strong cardiac tele skills; telemetry being installed on 4H/n/nClinical Details/n/nDrips: No cardiac drips; occasional heparin or Lasix/n/nTele Monitoring: Tele techs being added; RNs expected to be tele-competent/n/nRT: Rare BiPAP; CPAP for OSA only/n/nSupport: Charge Nurse & House Supervisor 24/7 (charge may take assignment if needed); CNAs available/n/nSchedule & Logistics/n/nShifts: 3×12s — 7a–7:30p / 7p–7:30a/n/nBlock Scheduling: Considered (including every weekend) based on unit needs; not guaranteed/n/nWeekends: Every 3rd (Sat/Sun)/n/nHolidays: Rotate with permanent staff/n/nCall: Rare low-census call; usually volunteer/n/nFloating: General MedSurg, PCU, ICU, or Psych/n/nOrientation: Unit-specific provided/n/nLocal Policy: Locals accepted; bill rate drops $5 if within 50 miles.
