Position We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician
for a locum tenens assignment in Iowa. This opportunity starts on
Mar 1, 2026, with a 36-day contract at a trauma center offering
24-hour physician coverage and 30-hour NP/PA support. Join a
high-volume emergency department and provide vital care to a
diverse patient population in a dynamic hospital setting. Job

Date: Mar 1, 2026 LOA: 36 days Provider Type Needed: Emergency
Medicine Physician Schedule: 24-hour physician coverage; 30-hour
NP/PA coverage; shift hours TBD Responsibilities and Duties Provide
emergency medical care in a 30,000 annual visit emergency
department Deliver patient-centered services in a trauma setting
Work collaboratively with physician assistants and nurse
practitioners Manage acute care and trauma cases across all age
groups Maintain timely and accurate documentation of clinical
encounters Additional Information Active Iowa medical license, CDS,
and DEA required Board certified in Emergency Medicine, Family
Medicine, or Internal Medicine (or osteopathic equivalents) Must be
residency trained and certified in specialty Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric
Advanced Life Support (PALS) required Recent CME and case logs
(past 2 years), plus copies of all diplomas required Up-to-date
