Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Omaha, Nebraska,

Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Experience in a large,
urban hospital - EPIC charting experience - Must be nicotine-free
Description: Team-Based Care Delivery Model with bedside RN, LPN,
and CNA. Travelers are first to float. RNs must be prepared to
float frequently to meet staffing needs. Unit cares for a variety
of medical and telemetry patients with acute and/or chronic
illnesses, such as sepsis, respiratory, gastrointestinal,
endocrine, and cardiac diseases. Staff will manage titratable
drips, chest tubes, tracheostomies, complex wound care,
post-bariatric procedures, high oxygen delivery systems, and
end-of-life care. The unit began implementing a team-based care
delivery model, focusing on collaborative patient care. Team
members include Lead Nurses, bedside Registered Nurses, Virtual
Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Nursing Assistants. Virtual
nurses perform administrative tasks that require an RN license but
do not require physical presence. This model allows nurses to work
at the top of their scope and utilizes the strengths of each team
member. Ratios: Days 1:8; Nights 1:9. Must be willing to float
within scope to meet facility needs. Additional floating may
include various medical-surgical and telemetry units. Care teams
include care techs, transport teams, and paramedics. Must work a
minimum of 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period.
Travelers are expected to work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Local
candidates will not be accepted. Requested time off must be
included with the application. Candidates must fully comply with
organization policies. Failure to comply with the organization's
nicotine-free policy may result in contract termination. All
contracts must end on a Sunday. 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing
