Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Council Bluffs, IA Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $1,820 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position ID: 75907883 Shift: 12H Days, Nights 3x12 hour shifts Description: Unit to start ASAP (3/16 start date)Days or Nights- treatments per day : 30-40 all checks, treatmentsfor MH at 84th BLS/ACLS/RRTFor MJE- BLS/ACLS/RRT/PALS- NRP preferred.WILL NOT ACCEPT CRT - Types of patients (adults, peds, and neonates?) : Adults, Peds and Newborns, - STEMI, CVA, Covid, EKOS, arrest, IABP.- What areas do they cover (Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, Rehab, Sleep Lab, etc.): Inpatient and Outpatient. ER, Floors, peds, L&D, nursery, ICU, Sleep lab, OR, PACU.- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have 1 year of experience - Job Duties (ie: Do RTs draw ABGs, perform EKGs, etc.): Draw ABG's, Occasionally do EKG.- Are RTs Required to be able to Intubate Independently or only to assist?: Assist- Respiratory Manager/Supervisor/Lead Therapist?: Supervisor-Ellen-M-F - Shifts & Scheduling (*Would they ever be the only RT in-house?): 6:30-7 Kronos - Work with request but need to be flexible to fill holes. - Weekend Requirement: Every other - Holiday Requirement: Rotate in with perm staff- Call or standby call requirement?: Typically no call - What is call response time: 30Minutes - Floating Requirements: No floating to sister campus- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Wine burgundy - RT Equipment (Brand for Vents, Cpap, Bipap, High Flow): Drager, A40, LTV and Avea in nursery V-60, vapotherms- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Yes 24/7- Department Specific Orientation: 2days - Additional Questions: How do you bounce back from a difficult day? How do you maintain self care? What cooping mechanizes do you use outside of work? Local candidates: are accepted, but the BR drops by $5 if within 50 miles Cancellation may call off up to 2 shifts per 13 week assignment with no penalty.
