Nuclear Medicine Tech Location: Omaha, NE Agency: United Health Care Staffing Pay: $2,300 to $2,500 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Location: Omaha, NE Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift (12 hours x 3 days/week) Pay Rate: $2300 – $2500 per week Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a healthcare facility in Omaha, NE for a 13-week assignment. The technologist will perform diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging results. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures (e.g., PET, SPECT scans) Operate and maintain imaging equipment Monitor patients during procedures and ensure comfort and safety Evaluate images for quality and accuracy before submission Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Follow radiation safety protocols and regulatory guidelines Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare teams Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards Requirements: ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification (required) Active state license (Nebraska, if required) Minimum 2 years of recent Nuclear Medicine experience BLS certification (required) Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals and imaging procedures Excellent attention to detail and patient care skills Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
