a Banquet Captain , you will be responsible for assisting,
supervising and training the banquet department staff with the
coordination and service delivery of food and beverage experiences
to our guests executing memorable events. Located in the heart of

inspiring environments. What will you be doing? Supervise and train
staff for banquet room setup, service, and breakdown per BEO and
manager's instructions. Ensure staff adhere to Marcus standards for
food and beverage service. Assist in banquet room setup and guest
service. Maintain frequent communication with supervisors,
managers, and guests. Ensure banquet and public areas remain clean.
Maintain work area cleanliness. Oversee inventory of supplies.
Uphold Marriott's quality and service standards. What do you bring
to the role? Prior Banquet Server experience required. Prior
hospitality supervisory experience preferred. Basic knowledge of
food preparation. Ability to comprehend and communicate in English
in order to provide service as requested by captains, managers and
guests. Ability to respond quickly and accurately to guest
requests. Ability to handle multiple tasks quickly and efficiently.
Ability to lift 30 lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings,
weekends, holidays, and the ability to work under pressure. What's
