Job Description:
Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., a leader in protective
services, seeks a dedicated Security Technician. This role focuses
on the installation, repair, and maintenance of security systems,
including surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
The Security Technician will support our mission to safeguard
client sites, using their technical skills to ensure that all
security installations comply with industry standards and client
requirements. This position is pivotal in maintaining the integrity
of security systems that help to protect homes, workplaces, and
communities, keeping them safe from threats. Install, service, and
repair various security devices. Conduct regular maintenance and
inspections of all security equipment. Troubleshoot issues with
security hardware and software. Ensure compliance with company
policies and safety regulations. Prepare maintenance and activity
reports for management review. Provide training and support to new
employees on the security system's operations. Stay updated with
the latest technologies and industry trends in security systems.
In-depth knowledge of security systems and electronic devices.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent
technical and mechanical aptitude. Ability to read and understand
technical diagrams and manuals. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certifications in network or security
installation, such as CompTIA Security or network cabling is highly
valued. State-specific security technician license where
required.
