Job Description/Responsibilities

The Retail Services Coordinator - North Central is responsible for maintaining day-to-day order management for retailers & distributors. This role will work directly with the State Managers, National and Regional Accounts teams, as well as internal operations contacts to maintain and resolve direct shipment matters, streamline processes, manage price books, discount allowances and verify Sazerac product details via new item forms and tracking. Primary focus: deliver world-class customer service coordination. Responsibilities: Inventory Management Weekly calls with Distributors/Operations teams to confirm available inventory

  • Weekly monitoring of distributor inventory and bailment inventory and purchase orders (POs)
  • Weekly monitoring of retailer inventory and POs
  • Detailed tracking and reporting of all inventory through the supply chain to appropriate State Manager/National Account Managers (NAMs)
  • Work with cross functional teams to mitigate and problem solve any issues to deliver
  • Work closely with allocation manager and monitor POs to ensure markets receive the correct allocation
  • Work closely with State Managers and Finance team to monitor price adjustments and discount allowances Manage Key Programs & Initiatives
  • Partner with commercial operations, compliance, operations, business intelligence, NAMs and distributors to ensure proper item setup of all new items/states
  • Align with the State Managers and compliance to ensure items set up meet state's specifications and authorized by liquor control boards
  • Work with NAMs and State Managers to set up and order items ahead of open states (as determined by state specific lead times)
  • Monitor distributor orders to ensure product arrives a minimum of 3 weeks prior to program start date
  • Work with operations team to problem solve any issues that may arise
  • Track current program performance and opportunity areas throughout the execution window
  • Perform data analysis and build presentations providing insights and addressing opportunities Manage New Brand Development Process for all Items
  • Biweekly calls with NAMs and Brand Managers to manage New Business Development (NBD) process from ideation to arrival
  • Ensure all NBD or current items will meet key account specifications (i.e. tray packs, pallet configurations, etc.)
  • Manage and support specific packaging and merchandising from vendors outside of traditional NBD process and distributor co-packing Job Responsibilities may vary by state depending on regulatory and compliance standards for the state Salary range - $62,000 - $93,000
  • Placement within the salary range is calculated based upon years of directly relatable experience for the position.
  • The salary range refers to base salary only and does not include car allowance, annual bonus, fuel or cell phone reimbursement.


    Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of supply chain, customer service or project management experience
  • Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects, call points and workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention-to-detail, organizational skills and analytical mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a self-starter
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills (written & oral)
  • Ability to quickly problem-solve and mitigate risk
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications:
  • Supply chain systems or 3rd party distribution experience
  • Experience working with a national broker
  • Experience in retail, CPG or alcohol beverage industry #LI-KG1
