Job Description:
Join Cargill's global team as a Maintenance Mechanic C, where
you will play a crucial role in maintaining the machinery and
infrastructure that help nourish and sustain communities worldwide.
In this position, you will be responsible for performing routine
and preventative maintenance and repairs in a complex, fast-paced
manufacturing environment. As a valued technician, you will
contribute directly to the efficiency and reliability of operations
that support Cargill's mission of providing essential products and
services. Perform routine mechanical maintenance on equipment and
tools used in the daily manufacturing operations. Diagnose and
troubleshoot equipment faults and malfunctions to prevent downtime.
Adhere to safety protocols and standards while maintaining
equipment. Collaborate with a team to ensure that repairs and
maintenance are performed efficiently and effectively. Record and
document maintenance activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist in the installation of new production equipment and systems.
Provide recommendations for improving plant operations and
maintenance processes. Strong mechanical aptitude and
problem-solving skills. Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic,
mechanical, and industrial skills. Ability to read and interpret
technical documentation and schematics. Proficiency in using tools
and equipment necessary for routine maintenance and repairs.
Effective communication and teamwork skills. Medical Insurance
