Job Description Job Description Salary: DOE SUMMARY Responsible
for scheduling and coordinating the flow of work, work materials on
a construction project according to a schedule. Duties include
reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment
schedules; conferring with foremen and supervisors to determine
progress of work; and compiling reports on progress of work,
schedule changes, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following: (
Other duties may be assigned) o Reviews documents, such as
production schedules, workforce assignments, and project
specifications to obtain information, such as materials,
priorities, and personnel requirements. Expectation : Understands
and effectively applies information to achieve requirements and
goals of the project. o Compiles schedules and orders, such as
workforce assignments, production, workflow, transportation, and
maintenance or repair. Expectation : Schedules and orders function
efficiently, cost-effectively, and accurately. o Monitor work
progress and provides services, such as furnishing permits,
tickets, and union information, and informs workers to expedite
workflow. Expectation : Work progress and services support goals
and objectives of the project plan. o Requisitions and maintains
inventory of materials, equipment, tools and supplies to meet
production demands. o Expectation : Inventory and tool or equipment
availability consistently supports goals and objectives of the
project plan. o Calculates figures, such as labor and materials
amounts, manufacturing costs, and wages, using pricing schedules,
adding machine, or calculator. o Expectation : Calculations are
accurate, timely, and consistently supports goals and objectives of
the project plan. o Maintains files, such as maintenance records,
bills of lading, and cost reports. o Expectation : Files and
records are accurate, timely, and accessible to support goals and
objectives of the project plan. o Arranges for delivery and
distributes supplies and parts; expedites flow of materials to meet
production schedules. Expectation : Delivery and distribution are
accurate, timely, and support the project plan. o Reviews documents
and inventories, and monitors work processes for completeness,
accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
Expectation : Understands and effectively monitors processes to
achieve requirements and goals of the project. o Completes reports
on production progress, customer information, and materials
inventory. Expectation : Reports and records are complete,
accurate, timely, and accessible to support goals and objectives of
the project plan. o o Confers with establishment personnel,
vendors, and customers to coordinate processes and progress, and to
resolve complaints. Expectation : Communication is ongoing, clear,
concise, and complete. Coordination is complete, accurate, timely,
and supports goals and objectives of the project plan . Maintains a
favorable working relationship with all employees in order to
facilitate positive employee morale, productivity, and continued
improvement. Expectation : Morale and productivity are high. o
Responsible for suggesting methods to improve area operations,
processes, efficiency, and service to both internal and external
customers. Expectation : Methods and processes are effective and
timely. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory
responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully,
an individual must be able to perform each essential duty

Bachelors degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University; or
three to five years related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of
administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word
processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other
office procedures and terminology. Knowledge of raw materials,
production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques
for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Knowledge of principles and methods for analysis and reporting of
financial data. Knowledge of principles and methods for moving
goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and
benefits. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to: Read and comprehend simple
instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple
correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and
small groups situations to customers, clients, and other employees
of the organization. Read, analyze, and interpret general business
periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or
governmental regulations. Write reports, business correspondence,
and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond
to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the
general public. Second language, in locations where required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to: Calculate figures and amounts such
as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages,
area, circumference, and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra
and geometry. Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of
measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar
graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to: Apply common sense
understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral,
or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete
variables in standardized situations. Solve practical problems and
deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only
limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions
furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Maintain a valid Driver's
